Hepi Niu Yer!

Today is the first day of my week long, *ahem* 11 days to be exact, Chinese New Year holiday break. I'm finally back in Segamat Resort again!

To be honest, I'm already missing Sally like crazy and I won't get to see her until Jan 30th. Ever since we started dating, we've been seeing each other for almost everyday. We see each other at work and we do crazy stuffs on weekends. She has also accompanied me on every Segamat trip until now, because I had to go to Malacca for a family reunion dinner.

Anyway, since I'm alone now, I've been thinking about the great times we spent together, the funny things we did and our usually childish and enjoyable conversations.

Look! I'm on the left side of the picture!

I remember she used to tell me that she loves me more than I do. Not once, but a few times. And usually I respond by saying it's actually the other way round. When I start to think about it, I realize that what she said is actually true. Disclaimer: That doesn't mean I don't love her.

Sally has really been paying attention to me all these while, and frankly at times, I thought she hadn't.

For instance, on my birthday last year, she bought me an electronic shaver because I used to cut myself using conventional shavers. And she included an MGS keychain and a Star Wars: Force Unleashed PSP game - things that I really, really, really like but hesitated to buy because I thought I should save some money. I must have looked really pitiful :P

On Christmas last year, she bought me 3 pairs of cozy socks because she noticed I had a pair with big holes in them. It sounds like nothing, but I thought it was a really sweet thing to do :)

On top of that, she has never failed to encourage and motivate me to pursue my career aspirations. And I believe she did all these with love and care for me. Really, what else can I ask for from a girlfriend?

My dearest Sally

Sally, you are truly the No.1 in my life! Writing all these just make me miss you more :( Love ya lots!

Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to you readers out there, and may all of us prosper in year 2009!
